Your Brain is Not Your Friend

In this episode, Diann talks about how most people think that their brain works on their behalf, helping them to achieve their personal happiness, but little do people know the hard truth that it really doesn’t operate this way, but rather the other way around. 

It is true that our brain can be likened to a computer with regard to how it operates, but unlike a computer, our brain never gets an upgrade, updates, or even extra storage so thoughts we adopted as children continue to drive our thinking in spite of years of life experience.  

The brain is focused on the prime directive of your survival instead of your continued growth and learning,.  As a result, the brain is resistant to change, that is why it takes much of a person’s will and effort to change the way we think.  The good news is that you can do something about it and that’s what we’ll discuss in this episode.
